The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Pakistan will be the official host, but due to geopolitical tensions, India’s matches will be played in Dubai as a neutral venue.
Tournament Format & Teams
- 8 Teams will compete: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
- The teams are divided into two groups:
- Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh
- Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, Afghanistan
- The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
- A total of 15 matches will be played in a 50-over ODI format.

- Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
- Dubai International Cricket Stadium (for India’s matches & neutral venue games).

The high-profile India vs Pakistan match will be held on February 23 in Dubai. The final venue will be Dubai if India qualifies, otherwise, it will be in Lahore.
